Digital Media Addiction

A Modern Phenomenon Through the Lens of the Center for the Study of Tobacco and Society

Digital Media Addiction Research Posters

Over the past several years, the CSTS published two research posters created by Dr. Blum and Tom Gruchala, a student in the Randall Research Scholars Program at the University of Alabama. The posters aims to provide a concise overview of the major issues related to digital media addiction, including mental health.

The posters provide information about the significance of the issue and how quickly technology and its effects have grown over time. Overall, it is important to consider that digital media has many benefits but causes various problems that are largely ignored.

Click on the posters for full-sized versions as well as a list of references used to assemble each poster.
